Angels Camp, CA
Angels Camp, California is a picturesque Gold Rush town with a deep-rooted in history in great, American literature. On a visit to the "City of Angels," Mark Twain penned his first great success as a writer based on a story he heard at the Angels Hotel. The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County became nationally acclaimed and brought attention to Angels Camp.
